All photographs are available for purchase, and a few are currently available as notecards at the Northern Michigan Artists Market in Petoskey MI.  All are cropped here as 11" x 14".

Picture
Trellis and Vine.
Cold, windy, overcast.  Nonetheless, it was a good day to capture this picture.  I am attracted to the nuanced colorations of the white brick, and the delicate yet sturdy vine blowing in the wind.

Picture
Trillium.
In northern Michigan, the appearance of trillium in the woods heralds spring.

Picture
Lake Shore / Dusk.
I love the lake shore both at dawn and dusk.  Again, I am attracted to the soft and diffuse colors of the sky and landscape.

Picture
Winter Lake - Blue Horizon.
The lake is always changing -- it has an infinite variety of moods and colors.  I am continually drawn to the lakeshore.

Picture
Winter Roses.
Winter arrived early and caught the late-fall roses by surprise.  But what a beautiful contrast!

Picture
Rock Hunter.
People enjoy searching for Petoskey stones in Little Traverse Bay.  I was so glad to capture this picture -- the water as reflective as glass, with soft nuanced colors.

Picture
Weque -- Early Morning Fog.
The community of Wequetonsing is near Harbor Springs MI.  I took this photograph early one morning as I rode my bike there, along the shore road.

Picture
Chicago Botanic Gardens -- Spring Cherry Blossoms.
The Gardens offer some of my favorite places to wander and clear my mind.  It is a special place at any time of year.

Picture
First Snow (November).
This was the first snow of the season, arriving in early November of that year.  The view is from our back deck.  I made no alterations aside from cropping -- the color is exactly as it was that day.

Picture
Winter Breakwall -- Petoskey MI.
This is the light at the entrance to the harbor in Petoskey.  Little Traverse Bay typically freezes over by mid-February.  Each year, there are a number of people who walk across the bay between Petoskey and Harbor Springs.

Picture
Winter Boat Yard 1.
Something strikes me as quite poetic in this image and Winter Boat Yard 2.  I tend to view them together, with 1 to the left of 2.

Picture
Winter Boat Yard 2.

Picture
Ice and Beach.
My same old refrain -- the lake is always interesting!

Picture
Winter Stream.
I especially liked the piece of ice clinging to the branch in the water, as well as the various reflections.  And the sun dazzle at the bottom right corner.

Picture
Ducks - Brown and White.
Such hardy creatures.  And aggressive, which probably serves them well.
