Early Morning Fog.
This morning, the fog was just beginning to burn off.  The barn doors were wonderfully luminous, and the windows of the greenhouse seemed to glow.

Farm - Fog and White Flowers.
Taken early in the morning, when the fog was not burning off.  The brightness of the white flowers still shone.

Red Barn - Fog.
Sometimes I can't quite believe that these places still exist in our loud and busy world.  I am fortunate to find such small, quiet spots.

Sunset with Four Chairs.
Usually, a good photograph is the result of being in the right place at the right time.  And being patient, and willing and able to stick around for as long as it takes.  This was taken along the shore in Bay View.

Spring Lake with Duck.
The little spring-fed pond is near our house.  Although only about a half-mile from Lake Michigan, it is the source of the Inland Waterway.  This pond feeds into several inland lakes connected by channels which ends in Lake Huron, located on the opposite side of our state.  I got out of the car and went to the boardwalk along the pond.  My first sight was this lone duck that had just left the shore.  And with such a clear sky -- with just a few clouds to add interest -- the reflections from the sky and shore were quite sharp.  All in all, what luck!
